Our Story

From passing each other in the halls of Hempfield High School to finding each other years later, our timing couldn't have been more unexpected

Post grad we both travelled to opposite sides of the country—Nicole in NYC studying fashion and Joshua in Arizona chasing the sun; then fate finally stepped in years later bringing them both back to their home town, and the timing couldn't have been scripted better.

On the same day Joshua moved back to Lancaster, a mutual friend invited him to a gathering. Joshua walked in, saw Nicole sitting on the couch, and she immediately took his breath away. Thankfully the feeling was mutual! Joshua decided to 'bother' her for the rest of the night, and it clearly worked!

Fast forward to September 16, 2022, Joshua proposed 1,300 feet above the streets of New York City at One Vanderbilt...and Nicole said YES!

Now we can't wait to celebrate the next chapter with all our closest friends and family!

The most important gift to us is having all our family and friends share in our special day!

As we've built a home together, we've been fortunate enough to collect most of the household items we need. We’ve decided to prioritize experiences over traditional gifts and set up a Honeyfund to help us create our first memories as a married couple! What should I wear?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will both be indoor celebrations. We ask that guests wear formal black attire. Women can wear a black floor-length gown, fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pants suit. Men have the option of wearing a black tuxedo or a suit with a collared shirt in any color. Can I bring a +1?

Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation envelope

Are children welcome?

We will not be able to accommodate children for our wedding celebration. We thank you for understanding and hope arrangements can be made that allow you to still attend our big day

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than July 16th

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both events will take place indoors in the Bellevue Hotel - More information here

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at the Bellevue no later than 5:00pm

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

We have secured room blocks at both The Bellevue and The Cambria (Across the street). As of now we have 20 rooms at The Bellevue for the night of our wedding priced at $389 for the night. We have an additional 20 rooms available at The Cambria for both 8/15 and 8/16. For 8/15 the room price is $199 and for 8/16 it is $159.

There are other hotels close by as well if you wish to look into them. The others we highly recommend are The DoubleTree by Hilton (Philadelphia Center City) and The Hyatt Centric (Center City Philadelphia)

I have dietary restrictions, what should I do?

Please let us know in the RSVP of any and all restrictions, allergies, and sensitivities so the staff can be notified

What's on the menu?

We will be serving the following, however it is restaurant style so you will let the chef know what you're in the mood for day of

Filet Mignon

Center-cut filet mignon, seared to perfection, and served with a roasted shallot, red wine demi-glace

Chilean Sea Bass

Pan seared Chilean sea bass, served with a ginger-miso sauce with a hint of soy

Veal Chop

Grilled veal chop, crusted with fresh herbs and served with a cabernet sauvignon demi-glace

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely! The drinks are going to be flowing

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding?

Absolutely! The only caveat is that we ask you to please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony as we will have professional photographers for that event and would like to see everyone being present in those photos, thank you in advance!
